Atina - Natural Assets
Founded in 2005, Atina initially focused on structuring an extremely complex production chain, that of natural alpha-bisabolol (obtained from the essential oil of the candeia, a tree native to the Brazilian Atlantic Forest), in a transparent and socially fair way.
It began by structuring an industrial and forestry operation, certified by the FSC - Forest Stewardship Council, an international leader in forest management sustainability certification. Atina's bisabolol was the first forest asset extracted from native Atlantic Forest wood that was successful in obtaining FSC certification.
We call our ingredients natural assets to underline the value of our supply chains, in turn commending Nature for the generous supply of raw material we are able to work with.
